Happy 2011!!!

Happy New Year everyone!
Bonne Année!

I ended the year by taking my dad to a NHL Hockey game!  The Flyers were in town to play the Ducks in Anaheim! We had great seats and Game was 5-2 for the Quack Quack team!!!
We were surrounded by Flyers fans it was really funny!!!

We did not stay up until midnight...I know lame but I could not stay awake!

This is me with my Dad and Bill before we left for the game!

Today I went out wanting to do a 7 miles run and did just 6 miles.  I thought the path I was on was a lot longer then it is, I reached the end and turned around...at mile 4 my stomach was cramping so I decided to just finish and head home and did 6 miles.  Was a little disappointed with myself but I don't want to be sick again and so maybe it is for the best.
This is me when I got back home, everyone was playing outside and Bill took these pictures..not sure why I did that silly pose on the second pic ..my best dance move?!

Registered for a couple of race for 2011 yesterday, so far I have one per month until April.  Need to find one for May.

Did you watch the Rose Parade today?  We are planning on going to see the floats tomorrow if it does not rain!

No resolution for me, I don't believe in them.
I choose to do the best I can every day!

Cheers to 2011!

We watched the Parade of Roses today as TCU was playing in the big game.

Congrats on the 6 miles. Don't be hard on yourself that you did not hit 7......how many people got out there today and ran. Not many, but you did!

I often have days where I have a target distance and then fall short by a mile or two. Happens to everyone!
Good luck with your upcoming races.
