Race recap tomorrow...
I am back home.
I did it!
I am alive (clearly since I am typing all this blah blah)
I hurt everywhere below the belt.
BUT I AM HAPPY.
TODAY JANUARY 23rd 2011 I RAN A HALF MARATHON!
It was harder then I thought.
Not as FLAT as I thought.
I cried at the end.
I also almost collapsed after crossing the finish line (dry heaves and very dizzy), thank you older gentleman who took care of me at the end.
Lot's of wonderful people cheering every runners on!
I will never forget the ones who called my name!
Went by Chris K station and I did not see him, bummer.
I made a lot of mistakes (more on that tomorrow)
I am not fast. I am OK with that.
I wanted to finish under 2:45 and I finished 2:40 according to my GARMIN.
I will do better next time. I know it.
For now I am happy and proud.
I showed myself I can do it and more important I showed my sons what their mom can do.
They don't care about the time, they cared that I crossed the finish line.

So happy for you - you did it! I know how you feel - I want to do another now that I know I can & run faster. Congrats - You are now a Half Marathoner!!!!!!

Yea! Good for you! Isn't it such a great feeling? I know after my first 1/2 marathon I talked about it for probably 2 weeks! Looking forward to hearing about it!
