Returning to LB and need a little help please

Half Marathon Day is coming up so fast....
I am not ready.

I ran yesterday and today..5 and 4 miles.  I was planning on going out tomorrow also but now...I think I changed my mind and will take 2 days of rest before the race.

My groin is not happy.   I want it to be very happy Sunday morning.  So I will be good and I will rest tomorrow AND Saturday.

I am not chasing any PR but I do want to do better than last year.  I want to enjoy this race.  Long Beach is the first half marathon that I do for the second time.  It will be my 11th half marathon.  I am hoping to make it to mile 10 before feeling the pain...mile 13.1 would be ideal of course!!!

The boys are running the kids race on Saturday.  It is their favorite one to run.  It is 1 mile!

I am trying to start a small in home business.
I have to do SOMETHING.
I am thinking of things I could do.
Returning to the kind of job I used to have before having my kids is not realistic.  I left over 8 years ago.  It was a job "in a men's world", long hours, very stressful.  I have been out for too long...and the truth is I would probably not hire me ON PAPER.

I am looking at what I would need to do to maybe teach FRENCH...or translate...something like that.

For now though I am trying this in home business:

Can I ask you a favor? Can you take a minute and go like my new facebook page please...
It is HERE and thank you!

hi caroline! i love this ... for so many reasons. first of all - have a GREAT time at the race this weekend. i know you say you are not really ready but i just have a feeling you will find a way. you will enjoy it so much - being there with your family and seeing your children run too. it will fill you up and you will be so happy - it cannot be a bad day! enjoy your run and remember the best you can do is the best you can do!
i think it is wonderful that you are starting this in home business. i can completely relate to how you are feeling as i have gone through this same process in my heart too. a couple of years ago i started my business (it is called sugar cone company) and it is very small but brings me great joy! now i am balancing that with other dreams of teaching pilates and being a running coach ... i am all over the place but i am much happier than i would be if i were working a "job job" that i had no passion for. anyway i wish you tremendous satisfaction and joy from this new endeavor and am really happy for you!
lots and lots of love,

Hope your groin is feeling better soon! Jim has dealt with chronic groin pain for awhile now.

Good luck with the new business idea(s)!

Love your scrape booking pages! I wish I had half the talent or enjoyed doing that.

I speak German (bilingual like you) and have often thought about shifting over and offering German class/session for home-schooled children. We had a family from India across the street who did something similar with their native heritage and my understanding is that it was a highly desirable home-based business! Parents would bring their children once a week and the kids would learn native customs/dance/language, etc. A foreign language is most definitely a skill! :)

Good luck with your business. It's great that it's something you love to do.

Good luck on Sunday! It should be nice weather and I hope it all goes well for you. I know it'll be super crazy, but I'll keep my eyes open for you.

Good luck with your business, I like it on Facebook and will keep it in mind for Christmas cards!
Do you also create flyers? Or fridge magnets?
Let me know if there is anything else I can do to promote your business!

Good luck with your new business. I visited your Facebook page too even if I don't have an account.
Do you deliver overseas?
I hope you have run a good half pain free.
