The race was Saturday and Sunday I did not run. I wanted to but I had to clean my house for an appraisal we had Monday. (We are not moving just refinancing to save some precious dollars). Monday and Tuesday I ran at the gym and it was not easy. I did 5 miles Monday and 4 yesterday.
Monday, as I was getting ready to hop on the treadmill someone tapped me on the shoulder. I turned around and I found this gal standing behind me! Sandy! Finally we met. We live in the same town. We run the same races. She is on the pictures my husband took at races and I am on hers. We crossed each other on the running path in our town on Christmas Eve but it was from far and we did not stop to chat so really we had never met. We missed each other last week at the gym..yes we belong to the same gym also. So now finally we had a chance to chat and run at the same time. That was the best treadmill run ever. I had planned to do 3 miles and thought I would not even make it to 3 because I was in pain from my half marathon but just like magic I made it to 5 without hardly noticing the miles going up. She is so nice and I am so happy we finally met. I feel like I have known her for a long time. She is a marathoner and the name of her blog is Boston Bound Brunette so you can guess what she is chasing..:) I wish she could be there running on the treadmill next to me every time I go run at the gym!! Her husband was also at the gym and he took a picture of us (in matching shorts)!
Again, I look like a giant!
Saturday I met Andrea (who blogs here The MF Dre ) at the race and she met my kids and told them that she works at Disney XD. My boys thought that was VERY cool of course. Well now they think she is THE coolest gal they have met. We went to the LA Zoo today and when we got home there was a huge box on the porch.
How fun to get this..they could not wait to open it....
And lots of great stuff!!!!

Thank you Caroline!! I am so glad that we met and I have to say that I had a great run that day too. I guess it is a sign for us. Those cuties are sure lucky with all of those goodies!! See you soon!

It's so fun to meet our virtual friends. I like that idea of having a treadmill partner to talk to during a run. Right now my parter is Netflix 30 Rock episodes. Funny, but not as good a real human.
So FUN! And my boys would go nuts for that Tron gear :)
