My Trademark

Again.....
I get these from the race pics.   It has now become a classic for me I guess.
I did raise my arms up in victory right before the top left one was taken...
Where is that picture Mr Photographer??

Ran on the machine all week.
Not my favorite kind of running but better than no running at all.

Mon 5 miles
Tue 4 miles
Wed see below
Thu: 4 miles
Friday: 5 miles

Headed outside tomorrow and Sunday.  It is supposed to be REALLY hot so 6-8 miles max.

National Running Day was a rest day.  But I did some different kind of running.
It is the "mom running" kind of running.
I ran after my kids at the Los Angeles Zoo!!!
That has to count for something!!!

I haven't been to the zoo in so long! You are such a good Mom! I really wanted to see you today but 9 on the mill is torture. I got my long run out of the way and will shoot for a super short run on Sunday.

Running after kids counts! And I've had to do most of my running on the machine too. :( Next time just keep your arms up for a really really long time....start early...like the last 10 meters and keep holding them up. ha! That would probably make some funny pictures...but hey, they'd catch you with your arms up! :)

Oh yes you win the award for the worst runner photos (ode to SkinnyRunner there). Need to get to the bottom of that.

I thought it wasn't supposed to be that hot this weekend. Arrgggh. Hope it cools down on Monday for my 10 miles up on the trail.

I have such fond memories of my trips to La Zoo as a kid. Great memories being made there!

Why do the photographers never get the good moments?! Seriously!!

Oh, poor you...but at least you know you're giving your races all you have!

Love the zoo pictures. We have a great zoo here...love to go there with the kids!

I love the zoo!!!

Trademarking the finish line dry-heave might bring in a few extra bucks a month in royalties ;-) or is that not how trademarking works? LOL

I wonder how we can help you with this problem?

You have such a good sense of humor about those photos! To me it just shows you have given your all in the race.

Chasing the kids at the zoo on a hot day definitely counts. It looks like it was fun. I need to get my kids to the zoo this summer. :^)

They ought to warn you about those photo moments so you can stage it a little! ;)

I wish we had a better zoo to take the kids to around here, I think they would really love it!

I think those finish pics have got to be your trademark! They may not seem so fun at the time but you have to look back and almost laugh. I suppose I laugh to keep from crying at times like those :)

I would LOVE to go to the LA zoo! I'm so jealous!

Race photographers always manage to capture the worst moments in a race, don't they?!

Too funny - my husband has a different issue with his finish photos. He's got a pretty wide wingspan and does manage to get his arms up & out for most finish photos. The issue? He usually covers someone else's face for their finish photo!

I hope they also took some photos during the race. The zoo looks like a lot of fun!!!

he just knew to wait for your trademark moment instead of trying to get you doing something different :)
