Cool contest on Runner's World/Hood to Coast
From Runner's World Website:
"Best Race EVER" Video Competition
Have you run a race that not many people know about? Or have you run a popular race – even a major marathon – but had a one-of-a-kind experience along the way?
. And if you tell it well enough, you just might get the chance to win a trip for two to Portland, where you and a friend can see the world premiere of Hood To Coast: The Movie in VIP style. Hood To Coast: The Movie, a feature-length documentary about the world's largest relay race, will be celebrating adventure racing everywhere with a special, one-night only screening in movie theaters across the country on 01-11-11. Now we want to hear about your biggest running adventure!
In the "Best Race EVER" contest, we want you to make a 60-second video clip telling us about your favorite race experience. Ten entrants will be selected to receive complimentary tickets to the showing of Hood To Coast: The Movie in the city nearest them. And one grand-prize winner and guest will be flown to Portland, OR for the premiere of Hood to Coast: The Movie on January 11, 2011. The VIP package will also include a 2-night hotel stay, meet-and-greet with the film's producers and cast and tickets to the premiere's after-party.
Ready to enter? Head to Runner's World TV for the official rules and Contest dates. Then, upload your 60-second video describing your favorite event. RW editors will announce the winners on December 13, so start selecting your classic race story now!
