Last Saturday was our last game with my basketball team.  I am not sad, this was a hard group to coach.  3 out of 9 were all THERE..the 6 others were in their own little world.  I know they are still young but usually it's not THAT bad.  I do this for my kid.  At least he was in the 3 that were all there!

  3. Great job with the training plan! I had every intention of getting down to business on monday- but between the horrible weather and some nasty aches and pains I postponed. Going to try for a short run today- I have another 1/2 on April 3 so I had better get a move on. When is your next 1/2? (bet if I backtracked a few posts I'd figure it out.)
That is one tiny team that you coach- what age group are they? I can have a helluva time keeping my 4-6 year old riders on task so I feel for you. :-)

  4. I applaud you with the coaching of little ones, I helped coach a friends 6-7 year old flagfoot team, you are right, most of them are in their own little world.

  5. I love the son's duck :).
A slew of 6-7 year olds is very draining...but so rewarding, huh? You guys all look so happy!!!

  7. NOT HAPPY with that result I tell you. NOT HAPPY at all.

Every March it is the same thing. Sweating a tough defeat and looking horrible going into the tourney. Can they just play well and then great going into the tourney for one year?
